Living on the border between Windsor and Detroit for nearly my entire life makes me feel almost as though I am from not only Windsor, but Detroit too. I loved living on the border between Canada and the U.S. The access to shopping, concerts, sporting events and everything else in between was amazing! One of the things I miss most about home is driving along the river, seeing the beautiful skyline. I will be back to visit on Wednesday and I can't wait! I'll even be flying in through Detroit (yet another perk).
There is a new trend going on here. All of the stores are selling shirts with big American cities printed on them. New York, Chicago, L.A and even DETROIT. Whenever I see one with Detroit I can't help but buy it. I've collected a few over the last couple months, but this one is my favourite. I have to show my love for the D even from 7,500 km (4,660 miles) away!

Vivir en la frontera entre Windsor y Detroit para casi toda mi vida me ha hecho sentir como de ambas ciudades. He amado vivir en la frontera entre Canada y Los Estados Unidos. El acceso a centros comerciales, conciertos, deportes y todo era increible! Una de las cosas que echo mas de menos es conducir al lado del rio y mirar los bonitos edificios de Detroit. Vuelvo para visitar el miercoles y tengo muchisimas ganas! Volare a Detroit tambien (todavia otro beneficio).
Hay una nueva tendencia aqui. Todo de las tiendas estan vendiendo camisetas con ciudades de EE.UU en el frente. Nueva York, Chicago, Los Angeles y incluso DETROIT. Cuando veo una con Detroit no puedo resistir comprarla. He comprado algunas recientemente, pero esta es mi favorita. Necesito mostrar mi amor para la D desde 7,500 km!
