I have loved playing with makeup since I was a little girl. Of course it started out with blue eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick...What little girl knew better? I sure didn't! When I was a teenager, I wanted to wear as much make up as I could. It was usually thick black liner on my eyelids with even thicker mascara. Yikes! As time has gone on, I've started to see that less is more and the 'natural' look really is the most beautiful (why didn't I listen to my Mom when she tried to tell me that?) So, I try to keep my everyday makeup looking as fresh and natural as possible.
As promised, I have prepared a post to show you all of the hair and make up products I use daily, which are the products I have used in all of my photos.
As you may notice, all of the products in the makeup photo are 'drug store brands'. As much as I want to say spending more on your beauty products will give you better results, I personally have NEVER found that the case. I have bought makeup from brands like Chanel, Guerlain, Smashbox, Mac etc. and I still come back to these inexpensive brands! Do you notice a difference between the expensive and inexpensive brands? If you do please let me know in the comments. I would love to hear another opinion!
The one product in the photos I don't mind spending extra on is the Moroccan hair oil. This stuff is magical! But I have to say, I have more uses for the oil than just for my hair. I LOVE to moisturize my face with it. Moisturizing your face with oil seems like a recipe for disaster, I know, but it has never caused a break out! I rub about a pea size drop on face before bed, and in the morning my skin is super smooth and smells great. I haven't used lotion to moisturize my face in a year!

Yo no!
