Madrid Open | Madrid, Spain

Fernando is a huge tennis fan and so we attended the Madrid Open today. It's still early in the tournament so we were unable to see any 'important' matches. But we still had a great time! We saw Verdasco vs Seppi, Isner vs Gabashvili, Flipkins vs Li as well as the practices of Murray and Nadal. Pretty complete day even for it being the start of the tournament! Aside from the tennis, we were lucky enough to be invited to the VIP area for the most AMAZING lunch buffet I have ever seen. There were dining areas decorated after 5 major cities. Paris, New York, Melbourne, London and Madrid. There was every type of food that I could think of, but my favourites were the pasta bar, crepe station, cupcake bar, and England style station (complete with yorkshire pudding!). Before and after the lunch there was an outdoor area with complimentary drinks of every kind as well as cigars. I hung around the delicious juice bar for the most part though! Hopefully these photos can give you some insight as to what it was like inside the buffet, they were taken on my iphone so I hope they're not too dark!

Fernando es un fan grande de tenis, entonces hoy nosotros asistimos al Madrid Open. Es temprano en el torneo todavia y no podiamos ver 'partidos importantes'. Pero hemos tenido un buen tiempo! Hemos visto Verdasco vs Seppi, Isner vs Gabashvili, Flipkins vs Li asi como las practicas de Murray y Nadal. Muy completo para un dia temprano del torneo! Aparte del tenis, hemos tenido bastante suerte estar invitados al area VIP para el mas ESPECTACULAR bufet de mi vida. Habia areas para comer con decoracion de 5 ciudads del mundo. Paris, Nueva York, Melbourne, Londres y Madrid. Habia todas las tipicas comidas del mundo. Pero mis favoritos han sido el bar de pasta, estacion de crepes, cupcakes,y el estacion de comida de Inglaterra (con yorkshire pudding!). Antes y despues del almuerzo habia un lounge grande y bonito con todas las bebidas complementarias y puros tambien. He pasado mucho tiempo al lado del bar de zumos. Espero que estas fotos pueden reflejar la experiencia del bufet. Son de mi iphone y espero que sean bastante claras!
