First day in Punta Cana | Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

We arrived in Punta Cana on Saturday night after a super long and stressful trip. We couldn't fly out of Jerez or any surrounding airports because there was the worst fog I've ever seen. So, we caught a train to Madrid with only 10 minutes to spare (we literally bought our tickets on our phones in the taxi to the station). After arriving in Madrid only an hour before our flight, we ran through the station to the taxis to get to the airport. We told our driver our flight left in an hour and to step on it. He took that very literally and drove 180km weaving in an out of cars (terrifying!), but we made it to the airport 35 minutes before our flight left. Finally after some more running, we made it to the gate and onto the plane before it left! About 9 hours later we were beautiful Dominican Republic! We are still pinching ourselves. I can't believe we made it!

I'm wearing a pretty laid back, summery outfit. Jean shorts, a white tee and a straw hat. Perfect for the weather. I accessorized with my new necklace and ring by Casilda Finat. Aren't they adorable?!

Llegamos a Punta Cana el sabado pasado despues de un viaje muy largo y con mucho estres. No pudimos volar desde Jerez o desde algun aeropuerto cercano porque habia la peor niebla que he visto en mi vida. Pues, fuimos en tren a Madrid y llegamos a la estacion solo 10 minutos antes que se fuera (compramos nuestros billetes en nuestros moviles en el taxi). Despues de llegar a Madrid solo una hora antes del vuelo, corrimos muy rapido para encontrar un taxi para ir al aeropuerto. Le dijimos al taxista que teniamos un vuelo en una hora y que tenia que conducir muy rapido. Bueno, lo entendio muy literalmente y condujo a 180km por hora (que miedo!), pero llegamos al aeropuerto 35 minutos antes de la salida del vuelo. Finalmente, despues de mucho correr, arribamos a la puerta y al avion. Casi 9 horas mas tarde, llegamos al bonito pais de Republica Dominicana! Todavia estamos flipando. No podemos creer que llegaramos a tiempo para coger el vuelo!

Estoy llevando un look muy casual e isleno. Vaqueros cortos, una camiseta blanca y un sombrero veraniego. Un look perfecto para el tiempo aqui. Lo he accesorizado con mi nuevo collar y anillo de Casilda Finat. Que monos, no?!
