The Canadian Touch | Portman, Spain

Since I started teaching at the University, I've asked a few classes what they thought a 'typical Canadian' looked like. To my surprise, many responded with "a Lumberjack". Although the stereotype is just that, a stereotype, it was quite funny to hear. Now there is a shred of truth to that stereotype in the sense that us Canadians do love to wear plaid!

I wore this wonderful jacket with an even more wonderful pair of new boots from Pilar Burgos. Knee high boots have been the latest must have for the season, so I can say I'm thrilled to add this pair to my ever-growing collection. The quality is amazing, which makes them super comfortable, easy to walk in and soft. I really like the gold zipper detail. I think they add something special to the look and sets them apart from the other knee highs I've been seeing around.
