Derag Living Hotels | Dusseldorf, Germany

Last weekend Fernando and I had the pleasure of staying at an amazing hotel in Dusseldorf - De Medici by Derag Livinghotels. You may have already seen some of the room and our experience on my Instagram stories, but here´s a closer look at our time.

We arrived on Friday afternoon with a very warm welcome and a special bouquet of flowers and chocolates in our room (direct line to my heart, might I add). The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It´s 10 steps from the city´s best restaurants, shops and nightlife.

The decor of the hotel was very elegant and charming. I felt as though I was in a Renaissance dream! The ornate ceiling of the lobby, the beautiful artwork and the sculptures which adorned the entire hotel were simply amazing.

Our room was extra special, too. As we walked in we found a large living room, complete with a sofa, dining table, big flatscreen and even a bed with treats for Sadie! In this area there was also a small, yet fully equipped kitchen and a small bathroom. As we continued into the room, we found a spacious bedroom which included a desk, flatscreen and a large master bathroom in all marble (swoon!).

The breakfast was delicious and full of options. All sorts of meats, fruits, breads, etc. There was even an area for Asian tourists! You could see they pride themselves on appealing to everyone and making everybody feel at home.

Overall we had a great trip and can´t wait to visit the city and another Derag Living Hotels soon. I would rate our experience there a 10 out of 10!

El fin de semana pasado Fernando y yo tuvimos el placer de quedarnos en un hotel precioso en Dusseldorf - De Medici by Derag Livinghotels. Quizás ya habéis visto algo de nuestro tiempo allí por mis Instagram stories, pero aquí lo tenéis todo.

Llegamos el viernes por la tarde con una bienvenida muy especial completa con flores y chocolates (linea directa a mi corazón!). La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable. Solo son 10 pasos a la calle con mas ambiente, restaurantes y tiendas de la ciudad.

La decoration del hotel es impresionante. Muy elegante y clásico. Me sentí como estar viviendo un sueño renacentista! El techo florido del lobby, los bonitos cuadros y las esculturas que adornaban todo el hotel eran simplemente asombrosas.

Nuestra habitación fue muy especial también. Al entrar, un salon muy grande completo con un sofa, una mesa de comer, una tele grande y hasta una cama para Sadie! También en esta zona había una cocina pequeña pero completamente equipada, y un aseo. Continuando en la habitación había un dormitorio grande con un escritorio, una tele grande y un baño super bonito todo de mármol (me encanta!)

El desayuno es delicioso y lleno de cosas. Muchos tipos de carne, dulces, pan, fruta y demás. También había una zona de comida Asiática! Está muy claro que el hotel intenta hacer que todos sus invitados se sientan muy cómodos y como en casa.

En general tuvimos una experiencia genial. Tenemos muchas ganas visitar más hoteles de Derag Living Hotels. Puedo decir que ha sido una experiencia 10!
