NUO | Beijing, China

Here is a look at the last hotel we stayed at during our trip to China. It was the hotel NUO in Beijing. It has a reputation for being one of the most luxurious and elegant hotels in the city and you´ll be able to see why in the photos.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It´s steps away from Wangfujing Street -  the main street for shopping in the city. It´s also less than 1km from Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City. Even though taxis in China are relatively cheap, we loved being able to walk everywhere.

The main entrance of the hotel was very classic with huge chandeliers and amazing artwork, however, once you entered into the hotel a bit more there was an enormous area with fountains, huge windows and hanging lanterns.

We stayed in the Charles de Gaulle suite. It was an enormous suite which was very elegantly decorated. I felt like a princess! I especially loved the four-post bed perched atop a platform.

The breakfast was another one for the books! I have to say I was really impressed by the breakfasts at all the hotels we stayed at. The selections were incredible. But at the NUO, the quality and service was above and beyond.

Thank you NUO for hosting us! We had an excellent time!
