Hyatt Regency Phuket | Phuket, Thailand

For our third to fifth day in Phuket we changed from the Bangla Beach area to Kamala Beach. It was a less touristic place and felt more authentic. We stayed at the amazing Hyatt Regency Phuket Hotel. It´s location is just incredible. The hotel complex sits on a lush hillside with amazing views of the ocean. 

The hotel boasts 2 infinity pools, both overlooking the water. One is enormous and family oriented,  while the other is connected to the Regency Club and is much smaller and quieter. The latter sits higher up on the hill so the views are just breathtaking. We spent most of our time at the Regency Club. It offers 3 food presentations per day (and unlimited drinks) at no extra cost to those who have paid for access to the club. There is a lovely breakfast, snack time and dinner. It´s also a great place to relax on the couches, have a drink and take in the view. I absolutely suggest you splurge a little and opt for the Regency Club Package. You will not be disappointed!

Our room was very spacious with luxurious amenities and an unbelievable terrace. It had a private jacuzzi, lounge and sun beds -  all with that amazing view of the ocean and the mountains. I had to pinch myself more than once. I couldn't believe how lucky we were! Upon arrival, our bed had the prettiest swans and rose petals on top of it. So cute!

We also enjoyed a 5 star meal at the hotel´s Sunset Restaurant. It sits on the highest point of the hotel grounds. Overlooking the water and the rest of the hotel, it´s the perfect place to watch the sunset and have a romantic meal or drink. 

The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Upon check-in I received a fresh flower bracelet, cool towels and a refreshing Thai drink. You can get around the whole hotel by golf cart. All you have to do is call reception and within moments you have your own private chauffeur. We got the impression the staff was very happy and eager to help us with anything we might need or want. It definitely made our stay at the Hyatt Regency Phuket unforgettable.
