Akyra Manor | Chiang Mai, Thailand

After 5 lovely days in Phuket, we moved on to Chiang Mai. It´s an absolutely stunning city in northern Thailand full of temples, cafes and charm. It was our favourite city during our visit to Thailand.

We stayed at the boutique hotel Akyra Manor. It´s located in the art district of Nimman and within walking distance of tons of temples, shops and tasty restaurants. It´s a relatively small hotel so you feel the intimacy and attention to detail. The staff was super kind and helpful in every way possible! 

Our room had a super luxurious outdoor tub with views of the mountains. The room was also very spacious and decorated very chic and modernly. Every evening there was a complimentary cocktail brought to our room with all the fresh ingredients and instructions on how to make it. We had a lot of fun with that!

The breakfast was also a big highlight. Nando and I are big foodies, so we were in heaven every morning. We tried the eggs, pancakes, waffles and French toast. Each item was absolutely delicious. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it! The city is also known for it´s coffee. It was another of my favourite things about Chiang Mai.

And finally, the star of the hotel -  the rooftop infinity pool! It´s not only spectacular because of it´s view, but it´s unique glass wall make it so perfect for cool photos. I will definitely remember this pool forever. The rooftop also has lounge chairs and comfortable couches for a day of lazying around. There is a bar up there FYI ;)

I would absolutely recommend this hotel for those looking to travel to Chiang Mai. We will book there again next time!
