Palermo Tourist | Sicily, Italy

Today post is from my time in Palermo, Sicily. What a charming city full of rich culture and history! We only had a few hours so we took a short tour of the most important monuments and spots in the city and the carried on exploring on our own. My favourite spot was the Cathedral (biggest building in the photos below). It’s made entirely out of sand and lava rocks!

Like I’ve said before, when travelling, comfort is key. I wore some of my most comfortable shoes and what I thought were going to be comfortable clothes. Unfortunately, I’d forgotten the colour black is not your friend when it’s July and you’re in Sicily. Trust me, I will not be making that mistake again!

El post de hoy es de mi dia en Palermo, Sicilia. Que ciudad tan bonita, llena de cultura y historia! Tuvimos pocas horas en la ciudad, entonces tomamos un tour corto y despues exploramos a pie un poco mas. Mi sitio favorito fue la catedral (el edificio mas grande en las fotos abajo). Esta hecho totalmente de arena y piedras de lava. Que chulo, no?

Como he dicho, cuando viajo, estar comodo es la clave. He llevado algunos de mis zapatos mas comodos y ropa que pense que seria comoda tambien. Desafortunadamente, olvide que el color negro no es un buen amigo cuando estas en Sicilia y es mitad de Julio. Estoy segura que no puedo cometer este error otra vez!
